Castleton Beacon 17/2/08
The Castleton race was ran in brilliant sunshine with ice blue clear skies(so no getting lost) but the ground was frozen which made it quite difficult underfoot, quite a few including myself went over on their ankles, the eventual winner managed to smash his head off a rock.
Four ponies entered, Kevin Holmes, David Johnson , Chris Jamieson and myself. Kevin Holmes put in a strong performance (even after doing the full trog last weekend) and came home first for the ponies, I followed in behind Kevin , then Dee Jay who suffered due to missing a train (ask him) oh yes and he had a cold!!!
Chris(Cee Jay as I now call him) enjoyed himself as usual, smiling all the way.
